It’s up to you! I feel the classic shoot with 1.5 hours and 5 edits is plenty! However, if you’re nervous or take a bit longer to warm into a shoot consider the extended shoot, which is 2.5 hours with 8 edits included!

Bring a few changes of tops or outfits, and anything you need for your hair and makeup (if you wear it).

Yes, of course! We can figure out which backdrops work best on the day and use as many, or as few, as you’d like! (It does take a few minutes to switch backdrops, so do bare that in mind!)

Yes, if you’d like! Just be aware of time and also if it’s really necessary (does it open up a whole different casting bracket?)

It changes every shoot! Don’t worry you’ll have plenty to choose from. I like to show the shots we’re getting as we go so you can feel confident we’re getting want you need!

Yes! If you’ve had a shoot within 6 months I can offer a shorter shoot for a reduced price. Email for details!

The RAW photos I will keep on file for a year minimum. The online gallery may go down before this, if that’s the case just let me know and I will re-upload. Any edits I will keep indefinitely, in case you lose access! Again just let me know and I’ll send them over.

Yes, you can! Additional edits are £20 per photo.

Yes you can if that’s what you want! However, colour photos are the standard and much more useful for casting professionals and agents!

After the shoot your images will be uploaded to a private online gallery within 24 hours, where you can narrow down your selection. Once you have your picks just let me know and I'll start the edit. The edits will be sent within 1 week of confirmation. Do let me know if you need them quickly, although it is usually much quicker than a week. I will send full size edits of your photos, as well as, 5x4 crops as is industry standard. If you require black and white edits or any other crops/smaller file size, just let me know!

Yes, of course! Whatever you think will make you most comfortable on the day and therefore give you the best results. Just make sure you bring someone who is supportive and who you don't mind looking a bit silly in front of! If you are under 18 you are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I keep my edits minimal, fine-tuning colors and contrast to make them pop while staying true to your look. I'll retouch any spots, but only edit permanent features like wrinkles and scars if you ask. It's important your headshot represents how you look day-to-day, as casting directors value authenticity. If you want any changes, just let me know! Please avoid posting your images with your own edits or filters, as it misrepresents my work.

My studio is at Wellington Studios, Pollard St E, Manchester M40 7FS. When you arrive, send me a message and I'll come out to greet you. There's free parking on the surrounding streets, and we're a short walk from Holt Town or New Islington tram stop.
